Speak
with Ease

Harnessing the power of AI to help students

individually prepare for presentations anytime and anywhere.

Our Story

High school students have busy, conflicting schedules with friends, family, and teachers. As a result, students cannot properly practice their presentations with feedback on their presence - hand gestures, tone, speed, and more - and lack of a proper rehearsal will lead to increased anxiety on the stage.

Enter SpeakEz, an app that allows students to practice their presentations with feedback on presentation presence. Sharpening these skills will lead to higher audience engagement and confidence on the stage, resulting in better English projects and capstone performance tasks. No longer will students have to practice in front of their mute stuffed animals. With SpeakEz, students can practice anywhere and anytime to learn to speak with ease!

The Ultimate Criteria

Gestures

Hand and finger movements make a conversation or a public speech more compelling and trustworthy and help the listener connect better. Hand gestures can often help emphasize certain points of your speech and strengthen your public speaking message.

Projection

Projecting your voice correctly can help hold the attention of your audience and help your message better resonate with them while helping to boost your confidence as a speaker.

Facial
Expressions

Facial expressions are important when speaking. A smile is the best way to start a speech. It relaxes you and the audience. Facial expressions can also enhance the words you say, much like gestures.

Eye
Contact

Eye contact establishes a connection with your audience. It creates a bond between speaker and listener, a connection that is beneficial to both parties. When you look someone in the eye, they are more likely to look at you, more likely to listen to you, and more likely to buy into your message.

Tone

When speaking with others, your tone clarifies and conveys meaning. A phrase as simple as “I don't know” can be taken in a number of different ways depending on how you decide to express it. Your tone can not only affect how people perceive you but also their willingness to listen to you.
